You are receiving this e-mail because according to our information you are located at Medicon Village, if this is incorrect, you can disregard this email.

The network infrastructure within Lund University will change following a decision by the IT Department (SIT), (EX-LDC).

The change is part of MSB's (Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency) requirements to increase the security of the networks within Lund University.
We, IT at the Faculty of Medicine, will assist the IT department (SIT) with the technical support required for the change.
The change involves, among other things, reviewing the security of our data networks.
And moving devices from less secure networks to networks with higher security.

To think about.
If you already have a static IP address (130.235.x.x) to access a specific system, such as LSENS, web development servers, lock/alarm systems, connecting to a NAS or other local resource, or similar, you will need to contact us via form to be able to maintain this option. If you don't recognize yourself in the above description, or similar, you don't need to do anything.

The change needs to be made no later than 2026-02-24 otherwise your computer will not be able to communicate with LU's network or with the outside world.
